Manning - Subscription Price ■> (Strictly cash in advance) , 1 year —— " " b months . . - 3 months— ~ • - Entered at the post office at Williamston, C.. as second-class matter under the act of iVlutcii o. 1879. ; , „ , Address all communications to lhe Enterprise The advertising scheme of the mov ing-picture trust seems to be well, judging from the great gather-, ing on each Wednesday night. The scheme is to pul tickets in the 1 ands of merchants, who give a free ticket to the show on Wednesday night to each customer who trades 50 cents with them. This scheme fills the picture hall und the streets with men, women, and children from everywhere. The purpose of the advertising scheme is evidently to cultivate the movie taste to a larger number of people. Of course, the "free bate scheme catches them. When the habit is formed, the film people know people will go, even if they have to sacrifice to do so.
