Mr. Brace Wynne is at home from his school at Gold Point to spend the holi days. Miss Louise Harrison will arrive to night from Dunn to spend Christmas with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. F- Harrison. Mr. and Mr*. James Manning and little son, Jimmie, will arrive tomor row from Eureka to spend Christmas with Rev. and Mrs. A. J. Manning. Mrs. Wheeler Martin, jr. and son, Wheeler, left Sunday to spend the holidays with Dr. and Mrs. W. L. Po tent at their home at Wake Forest Miss Carrie Lee Peel will arrive tonight from Greenville where she at tends the Teachers College to spend Christmas with her parents. Miss Pattie Edmondson arrived laat night from Greenville where she is a student at the Teachers College to spend the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Edmondson. Miss Sophie Little left Friday to spend the holidays with her parents in Pactolus. Mr. BUI Harrison will arrive Thurs day evening from Charleston, S. C. whe-e he is a student at the Citadel to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Harrison. Miss Estelle Crawford, who is teach ing in the Belhaven schools, will spend Christmas with her motner, Mrs. J. C. Crawford. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Bowen of Green ville visited Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Har rison Sunday afternoon. Miss Pattie Harris of Richmond will arrive tomorrow to visit her mother, Mrs. W. S. Harris until Sunday. Miss Annie Louise Crawford who is a teacher in the Macclesfield schools is spending Christmas at home. Mn. James Duffey and little son, James, jr. of Norfolk are visiting Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Liverman. Mr. Dixon Wilkinson of La Grange spent the week end with Mr. A. Has •ell, jr. Mr. A. Hassell, jr., who haa been ■pending the fall in Kinaton, has re turned to his home here. Mr. Bryant Carstarphen will ar rive this evening from Duke universi ty to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Carstarphen. Miss Mary White of Greenville will spend Christmas with her mother, Mrs W. R. White. Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Heydenroich of Elisabeth City are visiting Mrs. Heydenreich's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J W. Watts.
