lar meeting Wednesday afternoon at
3.30 o'clock. Mrs. Biggs entertained
at the home of her mother, Mrs. R. S.
Critcher, on Watts Street.
The author studied that afternoon
was Charles Edgar Robinson, and
Mrs. C. 0. Pardo had prepared a most
interesting and instructive paper on
his life and chief works, which she
read.
Mrs. W. K. Parker read a selection
from his works, and Mrs. J. H. Saun
ders gave current events in the ab
sence of Mrs. Wheeler Martin.
After the program the meeting was
turned over to the hostess. She serv
ed tempting refreshments, consisting
of mint ice cream and cake.
