Misses Thelma Brown and Mildred Darden, and Mr. Bruce Wynne re turned Sunday from Greensboro. Misses Carrie Lee Peel and Pattie Edmondson left this afternoon for Greenville, where they will resume their studies at Greenville Teacher's College. Miss Louise Evans, of Greenville, spent the week end with Miss Carrie Lee Peel. She returned home Mon day. Mrs. Sam Worthington, of Green ville, was in town Sunday. Mr. Oscar Paul, of Washington, was a visitor here Sunday. Mrs. John Pope and little son, War ren, are visiting Mrs. Robert Bogart in Washington. Rev. and Mrs. C. O. Pardo and little son, Jim, visited friends in Tarboro yesterday. Mrs. J. W. Andrews returned to day from Norfolk, where she visited her daughter, Miss Veil* Andrews, for several days. Mr. John P. Booker, jr., of Win ston-Salem, who has been visiting here will leave tomorrow for his home. Mr». R. N. Hearne, of Greenville, is visiting her broth re, Dr. Win. E. Warren this week. Dra. D. T. and Josh Tayloe, of Washington, Mr. Sadler, and Mr. B«o Dixon McNeil, of Raleigh, passed through here last week en route home from Norfolk. While here they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. G.
