Under and by virtue of an order , passed by the Board of Commission- t ets of Martin County and entered at their regular session Monday, May 3, 1926, notice is hereby given that an election will be held at the usual vol- ing place in Bear Grass Township, i Martin County, North Carolina, on Sat! urday, June sth, 1926, for the purpose j of taking the sense of the qualified voters of the said township on the question of whether the board of com missioners of Martin County shall levy and collect annually a special tax for the purpose of improving and main taining the public roads of said town ship. Said tax levy not to exceed 30 cents on the SIOO worth of real and per sonal property, according to the tax list of said township.
