Mr. Frank Gladstone of Hamilton was in town yesterday attending court? J Mr. and Mrs. Will Bowen, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Shelburne and Mrs. King of Greenville visited Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Harrison Sunday. Misses Katherine Hardison and Mary Carstarphen and G. W. Hardi son visited in Tarboro Saturday. Bill Harrison will arrive tonight from Charleston, S. C. where he has been a student at the Citadel during the past year. He will be accompanied by William Belk of Lancaster, S. C. who will visit here and in Tarboro for several weeks. Mr. Ralph Parker of Dunn spent the week aid in the city. Judge J. C. Smith, of Robersonville, was in town yesterday attending to business matters. Harrison entertained the Embroidery club Friday evening at eight o'clock at her home on Haughton street Bewls of Bweet peas added to color to the prettily lighted rooms. Mrs. A. Hassell and Miss Anns Crawford were special gusets of the hostess. An ice course was served by Mrs. Harrison assisted by her daughter, Miss Evelyn Harrison. Miss Minnie Robertson returned Saturday from Winston Salem where she taught during the past year. Mrs. H. M.'Hearne of Greenville is visiting her brother, Dr. Wm. E. Warren this week. Dr. Wm. E. Warren, delegate from the Martin County Medical Society, left yesterday to attend the sessions of the North Carolina Medical So ciety which meets at Wrightsville Beach. Mrs. Z. H. Rose, Miss Margaret Everett, Meaars Harold Everett and J. T. Price spent the week end at Morehead City.
