Orthopedic Hospital
Doing a (ircat (Work
The Slate Orthopedic Hospital is
(Suing much good at a low cost, accord
to the last aimuul report.
There was one patient received at
the hospital each day, on an average,
and only two were found to show no
improvement. '
It is rather gratifying to note that
the total cunt for treatment per day
for each patient was $2.M>, which in
cluded y(i2 operations, 1,071 minor
treatments, and 401 X-ray treatment*
When all this is,added to the hoard,
lodging, and any other possible ex
pt n.sej the cost is very low in the term
of the great service rendered.
Mrs. Harry Waldo, Mrs. jtnyle and
Miss Annie ■Jones of Hamilton were
visitors here yesterday.
Mr. anil Mrs. W. 1.. Daniel and little
son of Hardison- M II were visitors
here yesterday.
