Cotton Continues
to Drop in Price
Cotton continues to drop in price.
Yesterday it dropped 12 points and
today the price on the local markets
is 11 1-4 cents.

drops in the price of the crop find j
the majority of them hold that specu
lators are cutting mid slashing the j
cotton farmer. The great bulk o! the
the crop has already been traded on
and to an amount above its present
value. It now has' to- go into new
hands to pay bills. Those hands are
i.ot interested in the holding of cot
ton. They "need money m meet their
obligations. This naturally place* the
majority of our cotton crop in the
hands of those who are not the farm
