Misses Thelma Brown and Emily Lincke spent the week end in Nash ville with Miss Lincke's parents, Edi tor and Mrs. Lincke. Mrs. Hubert Warren, of Durham,! spent the week end with Mr. Warren and returned to her home yesterday morning. They were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. K. B. Crawford. Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Miss Martha Louise Anderson spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Anderson. She is a mem ber of the Dunn school faculty. Mr. H. C. Henby, of Wilson, spent the week end in Williamston. Mr. Henby said he shook hands with a thousand old friends, all seemingly glad to see him. Mr. Henby lived iu Williamston for 20 years, leaving a year and a half ago and has since made his home in Wilson. Messrs. C. D. Carstarphen, A. Haa sell, and R. J. Feel attended court at Washington yesterday. Mr. T. C. Cook, of Rocky Mount, .spent the week end here with his family. Mr. Carroll White, of Washington, spent Snuday here. Messrs. Jesse James and Dan Par ker, of Robersonville, spent a few hours here Sunday afternoon. Miss Macie Keel visited Mr. and Mrs. A. Anderson here last Sunday.
