Clergymen Endorse
"Tell Me Why"
N'o Clergyman that has ever seen
-the mo. ion picture. "Tell Me Why", to
be seen at the Strand theatre here
Tuesday, Nov. 9 has failed to endorse!
this exposition of the pros and cons |
relative to birth control, one of the ■
paramount issues of the day. The
picture opposes artificial limitation of j
offspring. The subject is handled in ■
a sensational way but revenently, yet |
realistically. »
In the plot a man demands more of |
a girl he weds than he expects to;
give, as inevery day life. The picture
depicts that this is wrong and rnn- 1
fair and creates u new double slan-'
dard. The moral side of "Tell Me
Why", is paramount' and press and
pulpit everywhere the picture has
been screened, have joined in heartily,
endorsing this tfxpose of a subject j
which prudery keeps every husband
~jjnd wife from discussing.
