ChfcMwrtm Weddings Etc. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Freeman and son, Frank, jr., of New York, are vis iting Mr. Freeman's sister, Mrs. P. B. Cone, and Dr. Cone. They will leave the first of the week for Pine hunt where they will spend a week '» before returning to their home. Miss Gertie Norton left yesterday for Raleigh, where she will work in the legislature during the rest of the session. She was accompanied by Miss Margaret Ward Jackson, of Ply mouth, who will take a business course in Raleigh. Mrs. Lizzie Smith, of Robersonville is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Mar shall Rogerson. Mrs. Frank Barnes, of Washington, passed through here yesterday en route to Windsor. She was accom panied by Mrs. Wheeler Martin. Mrs. Herbert N. Clark and little son, Jerry, arrived this week from Durham to make their home here. Mr. Clark is associated with his brother, Mr. C, B. Clark, in the Clark Drug Co. They have moved into the home recently vacated by Mr. and Mrs. Titus Critcher. Mr. Curtis Carden, of Durham, who accompanied his sister, Mrs. Herbert Clark, here from Durham on Wed nesday, returned to his home yester day- • ,i«. _*i Mr. and Mrs. B.
