Ctab MNtiip Weddings Etc. ' Mrs. W. B. Rodman, jr., and Mrs. Robert Bogart attended the gradua tion exercises here last Friday. Mrs. Rodman came to see the class grad uate which she started off in their first year of school. She taught in Williamston eleven years ago, when she was Miis Helen Famell. Miss Pattie' Edmondson visited friends at East Carolina Teachers College in Greenville Sunday. G. W. Hardison is spending a month in the western part of the State. Mrs. P. H. Brown, Mrs. C. A. Har rison and daughters and Miss Carrie Ddtl White visited Mrs. Blanche An derson near Leggetts Sunday. Miss Esther Harrison and Milton Moye returned today from Wilson, where they attended the commence ment exercises of A. C. C. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Laughinghouse and Ned Perry visited Miss Eliza Laughinghouse in Greenville Satur day. Miss Evelyn Harrison will arrive tomorrow from Louisburg College to spend the summer with her pai-ents, Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Harrison. Mrs. R. A. Pope and children, Bil lie, R. A. Jr., and Mickey, left yester day for Creedmoor, where they will spend several months. Norman Harrison and Ia" anion 11am hill spent Sunday with friends in Wil son. - . W. C. Manning attended a meet ing of the trustees of Atlantic Chris tian College, at Wilson, last night and returned today. Mrs. Harold Clark and Miss Estelle Crawford, of 11 el haven, spent the week end with their mother, Mrs. J. C. Crawford. Misses Carrie Lee Peel and Louise Evans, of the Teachers College, Greenville, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Peel. William Hodges and Herbert Peel, jr., have completed their work at Wake Forest College and returned heme to wait for commencement week. Mrs. W. H. Harrell left Friday for Richmond, whera she will visit her daughter, Miss Sarah, who is still a patient at the Johnson-Willis Hospi tal. Sarah hopes to be able to re turn home in a short time. Mrs. Hen Barnhill and children, of Washington, spent several days in town last week, visiting relatives and attending the commencement exer cises. Mrs. Harnhill's oldest son, Eli, wa* president of the graduating class of the local high school. C. A. Askew, of Jamesville, was in town Monday. M iss Watson, Jlessrs. Joe Eagles, J. T. Crute, Dick Cozart, jr., of Wil scn, and Willie Morton, of Greenville, were business visitors here Saturday. Miss Sophie Little will leave for her home at Pactolus this week. Sophie has completed her school work here, during which time she has been with her uncle and aunt, Dr. and Mrs. W. E. Warren. She has many friends here who regret that she will not be here another winter. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Little, of Pactolus, at tended the graduating exercises last week.
