The hostess, assisted by Mrs. Ar thur Anderson and Thomas Craw ford, served delicious refreshments of frozen fruit salad, sandwiches, pickles olives and iced tea. Little Miss Elean or Brown and Master Reginald Man ning then brought Mrs. Gresham a huge basket of lovely gifts showered on' her by her many friends. TWENTIETH CENTURY CLUB IN MEETING Miss Carrie Dell White delightfully entertained the Twentieth Century- Club yesterday afternoon at the home of Mrs. J.. W. Manning, on Church Street. The club's regular program was set aside and officers for the coming year were elected. Mrs. Em ma Hoyt will serve the club as Its president, and Mrs. W. K. Parker will act as the club's vice president. Mrs. f. W. Watts, jr., was elected secre tary, and Mrs. N. C. Green was made treasurer. Various committees of the dub were appointed, after which Mrs. W. K. Parker rendered an instru mental solo. The meeting was called for the dis cussion of the club's business and no invited guests were in attendance.
