Anderson, of Greenville, has been in town on business this week. Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Saunders car ried their youngest son, Jack Baker, to Washington Wednesday and had his tonsils removed at a Washington hospital. They returned yesterday, and the little boy is getting along very nicely. Miss Mary Fletchei, of Belhaven, is visiting Miss Estelle Crawford. Frank Margolis, with a party of friends, is touring in the western part of the State for a few days. Captain ami Mrs. Dan Fowle, who formerly lived in Washington but who are now making their home at one of the United States i/Army posts in Minnesota, spent Wednesday night in town with Mr. and Mrs. K. Courtney, who is holding a special exhibit of these well-known ranges at his store all next week. He says there are Majesties in homes in this county that have gone through five national elections and are still giving good service. Ten presidential terms have passed since the first of these famous ranges was manufact ured. The exhibit of new model Ma jesties at B. S. Courtney's furniture store is well worth a visit.
