Miss Pattie Edmondson has re turned to East Carolina Teachers'] College, Greenvile, for the coming! year. v j Returns 'to Kenly Mrs. Arthur Hardison, who has been visiting her uncle, Mr. R. J. Peel, and Mrs. Peel, left today for her home at Kenly. Spends Week End Here Miss Eva Peel, of Robersonville. spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Peel. In Waskmgton and Greenville , Joe David Thrower and Harry A. Biggs visited Washington and Green ville Sunday. Spend Week End Here Misses Emma Robertson ,who is a member of the Greensboro Pub lic Schools faculty, and Minnie Rob ertson, who is teaching in Winston- Salem, spent the week end with their mother, Mrs. J. L. Robertson. They motored down with iMessrs. S. W, Baker and R. R. Moguin, of Wash ington, D. C., who also spent the week-end here. Visit in Rocky Mount Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Harrison, Mrs. Harrison, and Mrs. C. A. Har-' rison visited Mr. T. F. Harrison in Rocky Mount Sunday. Attend Ckcuf in Washington Mr. and Mrs. John A. Manning, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Critcher, Mrs. Mattie Hunt, and Mrs. Fred Rand attended the circus in Washington yesterday. In Sunday Mr .and Mrs. Ben Hardy motored to Enfield Sunday to get their little son, Ben, jr., who has been visiting his grandparents. Wilson Lamb Here Wilson, G. Lamb, of Wilson, spent the week end here. Spend Sunday in Fremont Misses Rena Peacock and Mary Fletcher and Garland Barnhill and Stanley Sesaoms spent Sunday at Miss Peacock's home in Fremont. Return to Florida Mrs: Mattie Hunt, of Florida, who has been spending the summer with her sister, Mrs. L. It Wynne, will leave tomorrow with 'her daughter, Mrs. Fred Ran, who arrived last week, for their home at Bushnell, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Stone Here Mr. and Mrs. Will Stone were in town Sunday en route to Edenton, where their carnival will play at the fair there this week. Return to Greensboro Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Hunter and little daughter have returned to their home at Greeiisboro, after spending the week end with hi> mother, Mrs. W. T. Hunter. Crawford and Mrs. Carrie Biggs Williams motored to Norfolk last Friday. * Visit Asa Crawford Miss Anna Crawford and K. 8., W. H., and A. T. Crawford spent Sunday with Asa Crawford, who is still in the Washington Hospital. His friends here are glad that the doc tors think his condition is better. In Richmond Sunday Mrs. C. D. Carstarphen and son, W. H. Carstarphen, and Dr. and Mrs. J. S. Rhodes drove to Rich mond Sunday and returned Monday. Returns From Rocky Mount Mrs. T. F. Harrison returned Sunday from Rocky Mount, where she has been with Mr. Harrison, who is still in the Park View Hospital. Mr. Harrison is getting along as well as can be expected. Mrs. Myrtle Brown is with him at the present time. Dr. Tayloe Much Better Friends here of Dr. Josh Tayloe, 11., of Washington, will be glad to learn that he is recovering rap idly from his recent operation for appendicitis. Mr. and Mrs. Gano Return Mr. Lawrence Lindsley returned Saturday from Richmond, where he went to accompany home his father inlaw, Mr. Stephen Gano, who has been ill for some time in a Richmond Hospital, and Mrs. Gano. It is,with regret that friends here learn that Mr. Gano's condition is not consid ered very favorable. He has lived here for only a short while, but those who have known him are grieved about his illness. Attend Kinston Fair Mrs. H. D. 'Harrison and Mrs. J.
