PAGE FOUR Confederate Pensions Are Being Distributed Pensions checks will bring good cheer to twenty-six widows of the Confederacy and nine Confederate; soldiers in this section when they art delivered within the next few days. Already some of the pensions have been called for, and they are meet ing with full appreciation on the part of those who defended the Cause of the South in the i>ixti«;i. The pensions, numbering thirty-live amount to $2,1*42.50, one of the larg est amounts yet paid to the few re maining" widows and soidiers in this section. Deputies Get Two Stills Near Everetts Yesterday Deputies S. H. Grimes and H, U. Daniel made a raid in the section a mile north of Everetts yesterday mom ing and captured two stills, one was of 80-gallon capacity ami th other around 30-gallon capacity.
