fully entertained last Friday night by

The mcethf was called to order by
the president Mrs. H. B. Holloman.
The secretary Miss Margaret Everett,
caled the roll. Thirteen were present.
The minutes of the last meeting were
read and approved.
After the business session, the hos
tess served fruit salad, saltines, and
pickles.
The next meting will he held with
Mrs. C. W. Keith the first Friday
night in November. All members are
uiged to attend, as officers for the
coming year will be elected*

the most elaborate parties given here
this year. The rooms were attract
ively arranged and decorated for the
occasion with Hallowe'en decorations.
Yellow and hlac|c ribbons were used
effectively and huge jars of yellow iflow
ers were placed in appropriate places,
making a charming Iwckuround for the
twenty tables arranged for bridge.
THE ENTERPRISE
Hallowe'en place cards directed the
guests to their places and chocolate
covered nuts were served during the
five progressions made.
Mrs. Milton Moye made high score
and was given a bottle of perfume.
Mrs. J. C. Anderson, holder of sec
ond score, was presented a double deck
of csrds. Miss Mary Cook was given
a Hallowe'en cap for consolation,
i After the games were concluded, the
hostesses served a salad course with
hot tea, and each guest was given a
basket of mints carrying out the Hal
lowe'en idea.
