Brown, of this city, announce the marriage of their daughter, Mar- \ garet, to Comte Frank de Chasseloup- Laubat on November 30, 1929, in ( Nashville, N."C. The young couple sailed from New York City on the 14th of December for Paris, France, and were married with the impres-! sive Catholic ceremony on January 6th. Following the ceremony in Paris, the groom's parents, Marquis and Marquise de Chasseloup-Laubat en tertained at a brilliant reception, to which over 2,0b0 invitations were is sued. The bride, who had lived in this city only a short time prior to her wedding, had made a number of friends in this part of the State. She wa: very talented, having received her education at the Alvene School in Ntw York City. She studied art in Paris, French at Olyonce School, and voice under Franceff, of the ' Opera Comique. The Comte received his education at the College of Normandy in Eng land, saw military service in the Ma lay States, and is a member of the National Track team and won honors in several meets. He had visited the States on other occasions and has traveled extensively. He was quite popular while a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Brown at their home here. Comte and Comtesse de Chas seloup-Laubat are expected to arrive in Wilson early in February and will remain here several days before leav ing for their future home in Atlanta, Ga.
