Brown who had been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Parker. Spends Week end in Southern Pines Robert L. Coburn spent the week end in Southern Pines with relatives. • In West Virginia Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Watts and children, Jean and Julia, left today for West Virginia where they will visit relatives. m Returns from Bethel Mrs. A. T. Perry returned to her home Sunday after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Vance Bunting a week. Here from Petersburg Mrs. F. L. Minga, of Petersburg, returned home with Mrs. Grover Hardison Sunday to visit here for several days. OatTbotda today hom THE ENTER PRISE Entertains Friday In Honor of Miss Ellison Friday evening, June 13-, Mr. and Mrs. Joe David Thrower entertain ed at their home on Hatton Street from 8:30 to 12 o'clock, in honor of their cousin, Miss Mary King Ellison, of Belhaven, who is visiting relatives in town. The rooms were attractive and June's brightest flowers added to the loveliness of the arrangement. The guests enjoyed games of bridge dur ing the hours. Miss Mary Leggett and Mr. L. B. Wynne won prizes for high scores, Miss Clyde Hassell and Mr. Luther Peel receiving low score prizes. Miss Ellison was presented a lovely gift. The hostess served de licious refreshments after prizes were distributed.
