Bridge Party Greensboro, Feb. 19. —Miss Vir ginia Taylor entertained at a small bridge party last evening at her home on McGee Street to honor her young sister* Miss Edythe Taylor, of Wil- liamston, a freshman at North Car olina College. All the guests were classmates of the honoree and made up two tables. Tallies were decorated with scenes showing George Washington and his cherry tree, this being indicative of the patriotic mood of the party. All appointments carried out the bicen tennial idea very cleverly. Ices, with George Washington ac cessories, were served by the hostess and another sister, Miss Vivian Tay lor. High score award, a bicenten nial necklace in red, white and blue, was won by Miss Sara White. The consolation, a George Washington plaque, fell to Miss Fay Tadlock. Miss Taylor's remembrance was lin gerie. Guests were Misses Edythe Taylor, Sara White, Neva Liverman, Jo Hephren, Mary Elizabeth Davidson, Fay Tadlock, Ruth Norton, Edith Feele and Virginia Cahoon.
