Announce Marriage The marriage of Miss Elizabeth Brown Keel and Mr. George Harris in \ irginia the 12th of last May was announced here last Saturday, news of the wedding reaching the many friends of the couple here and at Conetoe as a surprise. Mrs. Harris is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Keel, of Conetoe, where she was very popular among a large number of friends. Mr. Harris, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Harris, of this place, is employed by the Culpepper Hard ware Company, and is well known I here. The young couple will be at home with Mrs. Erah Cobb in New Town. • Harrison - Leggett ♦ Miss Bettie Leggett, popular young woman of the Bear Grass communi ty, and Mr. J. 1). Harrison were mar ried in Suffolk Saturday, September 17, with only a few close friends wit nessing the ceremony. Roebuck, widow of the late Sheriff Roebuck and mother of the present sheriff, was honored up on her 63rd birth anniversary last Thursday evening when children, grandchildren, cousins, and others prepared a big barbecue dinner at the old home in Cross Roads Town ship.
