Mcßrayer Started In the Courts This Week ■ Robersonville, November 10th. — Suits, totalling $50,000 were insti tuted m the Martin County Superior court this week by Mrs. Lena Cochran •gainst Dr. L. C. Mcßrayer, Southern Pines doctor, to recover damages re sulting from an automobile accident in which the plaintiff's husb'atid was fatally hurt and Mrs. Cochran and son, Leighton, were painfully injured. Mrs. Cochran is asking $30,000 dam ages as the result of her husband's death, SIO,OOO for personal injuries sustained by her, and $»1(),000 for in juries sustained by her soil, it was learned filed by the plaintiff's attorn eys, Smith and Horton, Tuesday of this week. Mrs. Cochran, who sutiered a brok en leg and other painful injuries in the wreck, is getting along as well as could be expected, according to the latest reports coming from her bed side. . Mr. Cochran was fatally liurt and Mrs.' Cochran and her son were hurt when the car in which they were rid ing was struck by another driven by Dr. Mcßrayer near here on Highway No. 90, Sunday afternoon, October 23rd.
