D. Bateman, of Wilson, were here for a short while yesterday morning. Taylor - James Miss Anna Louise James and Mr. i Gomer Taylor were quietly married j Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the j home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Zeno James at Stokes. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Warren Davis in the presence lof only a few relatives and friends. There was no music and there no at j tendants. The bride was becoming Ily attired in pink crepe with white accessories and carried a large bou quet of white iris and tulips. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zeno James, of near Stokes. She is a graduate of Stoke;! High School. j The bridegroom is the only son of! Mr. and Mrs. Will Taylor, of Wil iliamston. He attended Williamston High School and the Nashville Auto mobile school. He is now associated with his father in farming. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor are at home with the groom's parents at their home near here.
