Mrs. Jessie Anne Brown gave a demonstration in carding and spin ning. She also showed us a real stocking that she had made, doing the carding, spinning, dyeing, and knitting herself. Recipes were given out and two new dishes were prepared under the direction of the food leaders. One dish was five-minute cabbage; and the other cream-mixed vegetables. They were enjoyed by all.
