Harrison visited Mr Leman Barnhill in a Washington hos pital Sunday afternoon. Mr. Barn hill is getting along very we" fol lowing an operation for appendicitis a week ago today. > Vndergoing Treatment Lee, 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Thomas, is undergoing treatment in a Washington hospital. Piephoff is undergoing t'eatment in a Washington hospital. Biggs, Mrs. Hugh Miller and young daughter, and Misses Margaret and Frances Grayson, of High Point, were the guests of Mrs. Fannie S. Biggs on Sunday. DlRAND KEEL AND MISS MILDRED WATERS MARRIED The marriage of Miss Mildred Aline Waters, of Plymouth, to Dur artd Reel, local young man', in Court land, Va., on August 1, was an nounced tms week. 1 he young cou pie were married by Rev. Floyd P Davis, Baptist minister, al his home in Courtland, with only tf few close friends of the contracting parties witnessing the ceremony. Mrs. Keel it the daughter of Mr. George W. Waters, of Plymouth. She was graduated from the Plymouth schools and took special training in a Durham college. At the present site is employed with the ERA office in Elizabeth City. Mr. Keel, the son of Mr. i-nd Mrs. Billie Keel, o' this place, is popular and well known in this section. He attended the local schools, and was employed by the Clark Drug Store here for several years. He is now connected with the Sinclair Oil Company here. Mr. and Mrs. Keel plan to star' housekeeping here just as soon as they can locate a home. MR. AND MRS. HARRISON HONORRD LAST NIGHT Moving to their new home on Hxughton Street, Extended, last Fri day, Mr and Mrs. R. G. Harrison, jr., were honored with a surprise house warming there last evening,1 Mrs. Myrtle Brown and Miss Eva Harrison handling the arrangements to make the event one of the most enjoyable of the early fall season In While Mr. and Mr*. Harrison were at the show, a large number of guest* entered ?e house, carrying many varied and useful gifts. Sandwiches, pickles and punch were served.
