Mrs. Annie Roberson announces
the marriage of her daughter, Miss
Yida Mae Roberson, to Mr. Oscar
Bland on January 18 in Windsor,
North Carolina. Mrs Bland, be
fore her marriage, made her home
in Williams Township, where she
wajs quite popular among the young
people of that section. Mr. Bland
is a young farmer of Griffins Town
ship. After today they will be at
home with Ben Manning in Griffins
Township.
BENEFIT BRIDGE PARTY
TO BE HELD WEDNESDAY
A bridge party for the benefit of
tile local school libraries will be held
in the Woman's Club hall next
Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 and
that evening at 8:30 o'clock, it was
announced today by the president
of the local parent-teacher associa
tion. Tables may be arranged, it
was stated, and a small admission
charge will be made.
