No authentic estimates on the re pair costs have been made public, but it is the opinion of some that the project will cost beiween $2,000 and $2,500 Negro To Be Given Hearing Monday on Murder Charge Ben Scott, now recovering in a Washington hospital from an attack of pneumonia, will he returned here probably next Monday for a pre liminary hearing in connection with the murder of Henry I^anier, col ored man, here the 17th of last month. Scott who has been in the hospital for about ten days will face Justice J L. Hassell about next Tuesday. No new evidence in the killing I has been uncovered by investigat-1 ing officers, Scott vigorously de nying the charge, and Willie Mel-| ton, young negro, still claiming he | saw Scott shoot Lanier.
