Scott, just recently recovered from an attack of pneumonia in a Washington hospital, is now in the county jail here. Man Arrested for Alleged Violation of the ABC Act ? Mack Peterson, colored man, was arrested here Sunday morning for the alleged violation of the ABC act. He is appearing in the county court today. Peterson was arrested following a long automobile chase by Sheriff Roebuck A companion, riding with Peterson, jumped from the car and outdistanced Roy Peel in a mile long course. Peterson is alleged to have had 5 gallons of bootleg liquor aboard, but when the sheriff closed in on him, he cracked the container and the contraband flowed freely.
