Bulletin Tells How
To Figure Crop Cost
Farmers who wish to figure their
production costs more accurately
will be helped by a bulletin just is
sued by the N. C. Agricultural Ex
periment Station.
The bulletin, prepared by R. E. L.
Greene, research assistant in farm
figured for various crop* on repre
sentative North Carolina farms.
It also shows how a grower may
determine the amount of fertilizer
he can profitably apply to his crops
to increase the yield. Beyond a cer
tain point, additional fertilizer will
cost more than the extra yield is
worth.
Experiment station bulletin No.
105, "Cost of Producing Farm Prod
ucts in North Carolina," may be ob
tained free by writing the agricul
tural editor at State College, Ra
leixh.
