ty. and Miss Mary Lucy Boone were
married in Shanghai China, on the
18th of last month, friends of the
groom were advised here this week
Mrs. Vinson is the daughter of I

Presbyterian missionaries to China
She was a teacher in the settlement
schools in Shanghai t^ntil foreigners
were warned to leave
Mr Vinson is the son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. John W Vinson His
father, a missionary to China, was
killed while in service there. Dur
ing his ministry in this county, the
groom made many lasting friend-j
slops, and the message announcing
his marriage was received here with 1
interest.
Rev. and Mrs Vinson will make
their home at Changtu in the west- ,
em part of unoccupied China. Mis
sionary work, due to war conditions, j Hf;
is at a standstill in Shanghai, and if
the missionaries are moving to oth- \
er localities to carry on their work .
