The rostrum was banked with na tive greenery and the choir rail was entwined with garlands of ivy. Fam ily pews were marked with clusters of gladioli and fern caught with bows of white satin ribbon. Prior to the ceremony a program of nuptial music was rendered by Mr. Russell Roebuck, pianist. Mr. Roebuck played, "Ah Sweet Myitary of Life," "I Love You Truly, In dian Love Call," and "Poeme Prior to the entrance of the bride and bridegroom, a trio, including Misses Marjorie Grey Dunn Catherine Manning and Elizabeth Parker ?Because." The traditional Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin was used for the processional and Menaeis sohn's Wedding March for the re cessional. There were no attendants, the couple entered the church to K The bride was a picture of loveli ness in a dress of soldier blue chalk crepe fashioned with fitted bodice, ribbon girdle, bracelet sleeves and new knife pleated skirt. Her hat was an off-the-face felt with lace veil. She wote white gloves and her other accessories were black. Her flowers were an exquisite shoulder corsage of white roses, asters and fever few tied with white satin ribbons. She wore as her only ornament, a sin gle strand of pearls, a gift of the bridegroom. Mrs. Robertson, mother of the bride, was attired in navy crepe with | navy and white accessories and her j corsage was of white gladioli and fever few. Mrs. Edwards, mother of the bridegroom wore a dress of Hun ter green crepe with accessories of black and a ihouldcr corsage of pink gladioli and fever few. Immediately following the cere mony the bride and bridegroom left for a wedding trip to unannounced points after which they will be at home in Williamston. Mrs Edwards is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Robertson, of Williamston. She is a descendant of Henry Abbott, who was elected a delegate to the Provincial Congress at Halifax in 1776 to frame a Consti tution for the State of North Caro lina. She is a great, great grand daughter of Abner and Courtney Ab bott Williams, who were prominent pioneer settlers in this section of the State. For the past two years she has been assistant cashier in the Belk Tyler store in Williamston. Mr. Edwards is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Edwards, Sr., of William ston, and at the present time holds a position with the Pender Stores in Williamston Only members of the families of the bride and bridegroom together with a few personal friends attended the wedding. -?
