Green Wave Conquers I Windsor's Lions, 7 to 0 | Sullivan Passes To Getsinger at End of First Half for Score Williamson Gridslera Threat en To Score Several Other Times ? The Green Wave eleven of Wil liamston High sent its third victim of the year back to their home shores without crossing the local goal line. Windsor High was stopped by a 7-0 score here last Friday night by the strong forward wall especially aid ed by Griffin, Taylor and Getsinger. The Wave pushed over its touch down on the final play of the first half by a IS yard pass from Sullivan to Getsinger. Sullivan plunged ov er left guard for the extra point. ? Williams ton?threatened at ?KtT opening of the first period by a sus tained drive from their own 30 yard line to their opponents' 15. A pen alty and the efficient pass defense set up by the Windsor outfit stopped the attack. In the second period the locals again pushed deep into Windsor ter ritory but failed to score when Sul livan fumbled the ball several steps from pay dirt. With only 30 seconds left to play in the half Captain Jack was slightly jarred on a play which ut the ball on the 8-yard marker. Sullivan refused to leave the game and proved his football senses were intact as he threw the scoring pass to Getsinger as the half-time whistle tooted. Sullivan forgot his shakeup on the next play to steamroller over the goal for the extra point In the third period the Green Wave rolled again to scoring dis tance as Lilley was hit on the 2-yard line. But on the next play the locals were thrown back on a fumble. The locals tallied 5 first downs throughout the final period but were unable to sustain a drive long en ough to score. The Green Wave stayed on the of fensive all through the game with a total of 12 first downs to the visi tors' three. Outstanding in the lo cal running attacks were Sullivan, Lilley and Critcher Getsinger play ed his usual brilliant game on end in throwing Windsor for losses on several occasions.
