A pre-nuptial program of music
was given with James Sydnor, pro
fessor of music at the Assembly’s
Training School, Richmond, Va., at
the organ. Miss Carolyn Lindsay of
Panama City, Fla., sang “Because”,
by D’Hardelot, and “If God Left
Only You”, by Densmore. Mrs. Byrd
A. Thompson of Spartanburg, S. C.,
sang, “I Love Thee”, by Grieg, and
“Oh, Perfect Love”, by Barnby. The
Lutkin Benediction was sung at the
close of the ceremony by a quartet
consisting of Miss Lindsay, Mrs. j
Thompson, and Simpson Cannon and
Maury Pearson, of Spartanburg.
Mrs. J. B. Ferguson, Jr., of Great
Falls, S. C., the bride’s only sister, I
acted as matron of honor.
The groom’s sister, Miss Grace
