Prior to the ceremony, Mrs.
Effie B. Holliday, pianist and
Bobby Lillev, sploist, presented a
program of nuptial music.
The bride, given in marriage bv
he r father, wore a wedding gown
of creme white satin, fashioned
with a scoop neckline encircled
by a satin bertha with cutout em
broidery entwined with seed
pearls, and long sleeves ending
cal la points over the hands. The
full gathered skirt forming into
a sweeping train, accented the
wedding band waistline. Her viel 1
was of French bridal illusion. She
carried a white prayer book top- |
ped with a white purple throated
orchid and a shower of white sat
in streamers.
Miss Beulah Gardner, sister of
the bride, was matroji of honor.
She wore a gown of blue satin ^
faille taffeta with a fitted bodice,
draped shoulders and full skirt.
Her bouquet was pink carnations
with matching ribbon.
Earl Moore was best man. Ush
ers were Dillon Wynne and Jasper
Perry.
For traveling the bride changed
to a dress of black crepe and
matching accessories. Her corsage
was the orchid lifted from her
praverbook. After September 22
the young couple will make their
home on Houghton Street in Will
iamston.
