Address, United' States Food-' Administration, Wash ington, D, C. - . According to this statement it would look as though he was not liv ing in the United States between 1897- and 1917, or a period of 20 years. It may be however, that Mr. Hoover was during a portion of that time a resident within the United States, but in view of his very great activities abroad he certainly could not have been here many months during that 20-year period. We rather doubt, however, whether this would militate against his nomina tion, since technically the law would probably call him a resident even though for the greater part of the time he was living abroad. v The interesting fact in connection with the matter, however, is the smazing activity of Mr. Hoover in connection -with mining operaffioTi throughout , the world, He has, cftis tainly iiaA.an, experience in this, re spect probajbly not surpassed by any other mining "engineer or geologist of this or any ether land.- Manufac turers 'Record.;, j.; 'y'jyry CERTIFICATE CF 'DISSOLUTION j STATEMENT C7; HIE OWNER SHIP.: MANACXtrrNT, CIUCU- '? u ': " NOTICE ' North Carolina, Edgecombe County In the Superior Court, March 31st, 1920, term of court. 1 Joe Gliss vs. Georganna diss.
