The biggest campaign event for Tarboro will be the joint speech of Miss" Mary 0. Graham, president of Peace Institute, and Senator Over man on Tuesday afternoon next at three o'clock at the court house. The ladies are specially requested to be present. The Chamber of Commerce states the report is going the rounds that Farmville is contemplating building commercial ice' plant. Whether this, is true or not is not definitely known. However, it does indicate that they are thinking. Such a plant here could "supply . Farmville and many other places with ice and if they can build a plant, there is no reason why we shouldn't do so. Farm ville is all right, but Tarboro is bet ter and there is no use letting them build something there that we need here. - ; s. Mr. J. H.
