N. C. June 27 Sun day June 25th., was red letter day for the Christian Bible School. The school has been growing steadily since its beginning some few years ago, and yesterday was 'Children's Day." There was an all clay service with dinner on the grounds. The children's program was excellent The subject matter was well chosen everything presenting some Phase of China and her religion. The reu dering of the program also showed untiring effort on the part of the ladies Mrs. S. II. Dutcher, Mrs. C. II. Mashburn and Miss Alire Gallop of whom special mention is needed, besides others aided faith fully All the rnmmtinity seemed glad and spoke in highest terms of the performance. Lamb had been a habitual laud nutn drinker for several years, and It Is thought that he had got out of laudnum and took the alcohol in the place of It. The funeral services . took place Wednesday at three o'clock. Rev. S. A. Wood conducted them and the, body w as laid to rest la the fam lly burying ground. Mr. Lamb is survived by three brothers.
