Perquimans County, was conducted at the Disciple church, in that county, at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon by Dr. G. W. Clarke. Mrs. Munden'had been In ill health for several years. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by a number of broth ers and sisters. BLUE CIRCLE ENTERTAINS The Blue Circle of the Ladies' Aid Society entertained the Red Circle in Blackwell Memorial annex Tuesday afternoon, the Red Circle having won In. the contest for workers last spring. Many new members were present and a very pleasant hour was spent. The annex was deco rated with autumn flowers. Miss Marian Baughn gave a reading and Mrs. Noah Burfoot, Jr., sang a solo. Delicious refreshments were served. Beneath the gladness of the occa sion, however, ran a strain of sor row, for since the contest came to a successful close, its originator and most earnest worker In this as in every activity of the church societies, Mrs. Cornelia Frances White, has; passed away.
