A Request
The Advance requests that
ministers and choir directors
who have Christmas programs
which they desire published in
Saturday's issue of The . Ad
vance have these at The
Ad
vance office on Friday. Other
wise, we may have to d sap
point you. Christmas Evej is a
busy time, and the advertisers
have learned that advertise
ments must be in on the day be
fore, but occasionally a friend,
who does not quite understand
the amount of work that has
to be done in a print shop, de
mands that an announcement
be made at the last minute for
him, and considers that he's
doing us a favor at that.
' We are glad to have these
announcements, of course, and
we publish ' them without
charge, but it is necessary to
have the copy early, because
printers are human and lino
types and ludlows are nearly
so.
We'd like to see an issue of
The Advance once represent
ing every worth while business
in the city. Your Christmas
card on Christmas Eve, for
instance, Mr. Merchant, would
look' mighty well in this newspaper.
Bless us, this is pleasant, try
ing to be editor, publisher,
pressman and business man
ager of a daily paper just be
fore Christmas. It sure is a
great life, if you don't weaken.

Meat forms uric at'l which excites
and overworks the kidnn i in their efforts
to filter it from the systdtn. Regular eat
ers of meat must flush the kidneys occa
sionally. You must relieve tlietu like you
relieve your bowels; removing all the
acids, waste niul jmison, eiao you feel a
dell misery in the kidney region, sharp
pains in tho back or sick' headache, diz
ziness, your stomach sours, touua is
coaled and when the weather bud you
have rliou.Tiatio twinges. Tlia urine is
cloudy, full of sediment; the channels
often get irritated, obliging you to get
up two or three times during the night.
To neutralize these irritating acida
and flush off the body's urinous waste
got about four ounces of Jad Salts
from any pharmacy; take a table
sjxjonful in a glass of water before break
fast for a few days and your kidneys will
then act fine and bladder disorders dis
appear. This famous sajts,is made from
the aridVf prapes and lemon juice, com
bined with lituifc, and hss been used for
fenerations to clean and stimtrhte slug
gish kidneys and stop bladder irritation.
Jad Salts is inexpensive; hnrniless and
makes a deliphttul effervescent lithU
water drink which millions of men nod
women take now and then, thus avoiding
serious kidney and bladder diseases.
