May 8 Tho news by the Europa is more fa vorable as regards the prices of our great staples, Cotton and Breadstuff's. Money, too, Is repre sented very abundant and the tate of interest is lower.Tho effect of this is to increase1 the demand of our securities, which y nearly twice as much Interest as can bo obtained oh se curities of like credit in England.'
