SIX thousandcrl of well Timbered
pine Lands, situated near the Salts,
in Mcintosh County, Georgia, fifteen
miles from Daricn, and foriy-five
miles from Savannah, on the Stage Road.
There are fifteen tasks of boxes cut on the tract,
five of which have been worked but one year, the
oilier icn tasks have been worked from three to four
years.
The extreme distance to haul Is about four miles
on the tract. At a distance of two miles from a
good landing on the Sapclo River, (at which Tea
sels of 100 tons can load) Is a good Turpentine
Still, with all necessary wagons, teams, tools,
fixtures and appurtenances. '
A portion of this land is well adapted to the cul
ture of Cotton, Coin, Cane and Rice,
On the property is a comfort ablo Dwelling House
recently erected, and contiguous are Negro Houses,

'1 he settlement is one of the most healthy loca
tionain the low country.
As a large portion of the tract remains unboxed,
it constitutes a valuable reserve of pitch pine Tim
ber which could be cut for exportation, railed at
the landing, and loaded twelve miles down the
River In Vessels of 2 to 300 tons burthen, there be
ing full sixteen feci water at ordinary tides on
SapeloBar. If desired, a good Mill-site could be
obtained on reasonable terms at a convenient point
on the River.
