The valuable medicines above named, are n.'t empirical, but are yrepargd in atreeuient with the experience of sumeof the most learned and judi cious practitioners, and are not secret, further than is necessary to protect the proprietors and those who use them from loss and imposition, as the component parts have been made known, confiden tially, from lime to time, to perhaps 500 PHYSICIANS! In Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, Ohio, and other places, all of whom, without a ein.'l ex c plion, have approved of the formula, and moat of th:iii acknowledge that they are ihe b.-at remedies that they have ever known fur the cure ol the dis eases lor which they are recommend d. Our confi dence in the excellence of tuebe medicines, idded to our desire to avoid the just prejudice of the med ic il profersion against secret and quack nostrums, induced us to adopt ihiacaandid course. We append a few of the no i ices wt have received from physi ciars. viz : From Dr. Wm. H. Farrow, of Snow Hill, Mary land. Gentlemen I have frequently in my practice prescribed your ' Stabler's Anodyne Cherry Epec loranf'.ind DWrrhce i Cordial, with great satisfac tion to myself, and to the entire relief of such dis leseases as they profess to cure I consider them happy combinaiions of some of our most valuable and safe therapeutical agents, and must be of in finite worth to the afflicted nnd mankind at large. In lurnnhing ihe medical profession with there active and concentrated preparations, so convenient lor administration, and of a atandord quality, you have rendered them an eminent service, and I can do no less than earnestly recommend -these prepa rations to practitioners, and especially in the coun try, where the impurity of commercial Drugs is one of the greatest obstacles to the success of the Physician. Doct. W. Love writes to us that lie has adminis tered the Expectorant to his wife, w ho has had the Bronchitis for fourteen years, and that she is fast recovering ftom her long standing malady. It hat in a few weeks done her more good than all the remedies she has heretofore used under able medi cal counsel. From Dr.H. P. Worthington, Laurel, Md. "Alter several mom he' use of your Expectorant, both in my own family and in general practice,! am confirmed in the opinion expressed of it, when first made acquainted with the recipe. For one I thank you fur so convenient and elegant a prepara lion of the Wild Che.iv." From Geo. Gerry. M. D. of Somerset Co., Md. ''Having examined the component parts of Sta bier's Anodyna Cherry Expectorant, also of Sta oler's Diarrhoea Cordial, and having used them in practice, I feel no hesitancy in recommending them." From . E. Marsh, M. D. , Kent Co., Md. "I have made free use of your Dkrihtsa Cor dial in my family. It gives me much pleasure1 to add my testimony to that of Others, In mvor of its efficiency.' From Samuel Martlndal, M D., Chesapeake City Md. "1 have much pleasure In adding my testimony in f tvor of your valuable Cherry Expectorant. I have, after an extensive use, found it to answer all my expectations." From Dr. Daniel W.Jjnes, Somerset Co. Md. "I have gives your Expectorant and Diarrhoea Cordial a fair trial, and am delighted with their effects, never having had them to fail in a single instance. I shall take pleasure in recommending them. We have been favored with a written certificate, cheerfully given by numerous medical gentlemen in Maryland, Virginia and Ohio, which alone should convince the mot i doubting that these are really Good Medicines; after stating that they are ac quainted with the composition of both the Expec torant and Cordial, and that they have adininis tcred them to their patients, they testify -'that they are remedies of great value, safe, efficient, and well wonhy of the patronage of the profession and the Public, that thev are more reliable than any other proprietary medicines with which we are acquaint ed." Ac. The above notices of recommendation from mem ber of ih Medical Faculty. Pharmaceutists of high standing, snd Merchants of the first respec tsbility, should be sufficient to satisfy all, that these medicine ar trorUiy of trialby the afflicted, and that ihey ar of different stamp end ciaaa front the "Qeackery" nd "Cure Alia" so much im posed noon ihe pnblie. - dacriptiva Pamphlets, te be had gratis of ww. nave toe aoeaieine tor sal, containing re eonaoMsdaiionc from Doctor Martin, BaitKcii. My liulo son, ton veors old, has just recovered from a severe attack of malignant scat let Fever; his throat was rotten, ami every person that visited him pronounced him a oead child. Having used your '-herry Tec toral in California, in the winter of 1830, fur a se vere attack of Bronchitis, with entire success, was induced to try it on my little boy.
