The ladies of the Episcopal Church, Creswell, N C had their Annual Bazaar Friday, Dec , 7th, with much suscess ; realizing from the fancy ano supper $45.00. ' Last January the president of the Auxiliary offered a prize to the one who would try to raisci the most money over $5. 00 dur ing the year. The ladies work ing for this prize were; Miss Myra Hardison Mrs- R. H. Frehn, Mrs. J. L. Hassell, Mrs Ida Swain, Mrs. J. L. Phelps. Mrs. Phelps having raised $50.00 won the prize of $5.00 in gold. The President wishes to ex press her sincere thanks fur the work and corporation of the who?e Auxilliary during the year 1917. Christmas Party at Pleasant Grove. We are requested to announce that there will be given a Christ mas Party on Friday evening next, Dec. 21st, at Pleasant Grove School hqflse.
