1 TO THE DEMOCRATIC VOTERS OF THE SECOND SENATORIAL DISTRICT: I am a candidate for nomination to the State Senate from the Second Senatorial District, subject to the Primary to be held June 7. If nomi nated and elected I shall strive to serve Eastern North Carolina, and es pecially the Counties of our District, to the end that we may receive bene fits of legislation equal to those re ceived by other sections of the State, especially in reference to highways. Miss Etta Robertson and Mr. William Lloyd Rowles have both had success ful concert experience and have been together on the Swathmore circuits for a number of seasons.
