Much improvement has been made in the appearance of the | building occupied by Hassell Brothers bakery. A new front has been installed, the interior painted and new shelves erected. Harry Arps of Columbia, has been here this week being called on account of the sudden death of his brother, Hilliary Arps, which oecured in Thomasville Monday. The fire company is sponsoring the musical comedy, “Cupid Up to-Date”, which will be presen ted next Tuesday night in the | school auditorium.
