Surprise Shower -($>—• Roper.—Friday evening, the Cross Roads Club gave Mrs. Hezekiah Ches son, who was leaving her community where she ha- been a member of the club for three years, a very surprising shower. Many members of the club were present. They presented to her a beautiful set of dishes. Despite the snow, a pleasant evening was spent. Refreshments were served by the club. Mr. Guilford is the son of Mrs. Mary Guilford, of Aurora. The bride was beautifully attired in a green and brown swagger suit with accessories to match.
