March 9. at 8 o'clock, with the ’.lev. N. A. Taylor officiating. The ring ceremony was used. The bride was attired in a navy blue traveling suit with accesories to match. Mrs. Simpson is a graduate of the Jamesville High School and has a wide circle of friends both in her home community and in this county who will be interested to learn of her marriage. March 20. H. H. McLean Speaker at Meeting of Junior Woman's Club Here Monday H. H. McLean, Superintendent of the County schools, spoke at the Jun ior Woman's Club meeting held in the Community Building Monday even ing on the subject of “Child Wel fare." He suggested that Plymouth needed a swimming pool. Miss Charlotte McNair presided over the business meeting at which time a committee composed of Miss Leslie Darden, Mrs. W. H. Joyner and Mrs. Leroy Boteman were appointed to meet with the town council to dis cuss with them the possibility of building a swimming pool here. The club decided to sponsor a game party on Tuesday night after Eas ter, March 26. §10.60 was reported as the amount made on the recent bin go party. The club room decorated with spring flowers, and the table was ap pointed with a large arrangement of white narcissi. Green candles in crystal holders burned at both ends of the table. Card board shamrocks, pipes, hats, etc., further accentuated the St. Patrick’s motif. Mrs. James Mizell, Mrs. Crutchfield, Mrs. Grey Wi.lis and Mrs. Whealton hostesses, served potato salad in Irish carts made of crackers, shamrock canapes, sandwiches tied with celo phane and coffee.
