Sergeant Russell L. Jethro, who is stationed at Fort Bragg, will be the guest of his grandfather, L, F. Dav enport, over the New Year's holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Phelps, of Greensboro, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Phelps Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Swain and daughter, Margaret, visited Mrs. Charlie Davis and family at Columbia Christmas.
