Earl Entertains -® Three Canadian flyers were visi tors in Plymouth last week and through the hospitality of Mrs. T. W. Earl had a delightful time here. One was a Canadian from Montreal, two were Norwegians who trained at Lit tle Norway near Toronto. They were of the crew of 13 who fled in a small boat from Norway to England, arriving there after a long, dangerous and arduous voyage and then went to Canada to be trained as flyers. Mrs. Earl, whose home formerly was in Montreal, recognized the Ca nadian uniform and stopped the fly ers to extend greeting. She learned that the Canadian knew many of her friends in Montreal and lived in that city less than two blocks from her former home. Coming to Elizabeth City recently they had been given two days leave and seeing by the map that Plymouth was on the Roanoke River had come here in search of good swimming. Mrs. Earl took them to the beach, where they enjoyed what they had come to seek, and afterwards arranged some dates for them.
