1 went to Church last Sunday.
“You did? Where?”
‘‘At DAVIDSON RIVER.”
“Glad you went, or sorry?”
“Glad! It did me good. Saw lots of
people I hadn’t seen in a long time. It
seems like they’ve got more life in that old
ch'irch these days; the singing is better,
the preacher is improving right along, they
say, everybody is cordial, there is a spirit
of real worship, and the service lasts only
one hour.”
“Believe I’ll go next Sunday, myself.”
“I’ll be there, sure!’
